APC SRV1KRILRK Easy UPS Single phase Easy UPS is designed for IT professionals or network administrators to maintain business uptime and continuity. This 1000VA double-conversion on-line 4U rackmount UPS provides pure sine wave power and extended runtime to support critical electronics during power disruptions. The SRV comes with IEC 320 C14 input and 4x IEC 320 C13 outlets.

The On-Line UPS has a intelligent card slot for optional Network Management Card (AP9544, SRVSMB001, VGL9601l) that enables network-based UPS monitoring and management.

The UPS can connect to EcoStruxure IT or third-party centralized management platforms. The Built-in automatic and manual bypass provide seamless power to the load even in the event of an internal detected fault or error in UPS. The UPS and the built-in lead-acid battery has a 2-year warranty. Ideal for small data centers, manufacturing facilities, computer rooms, network storage devices, telecommunication, and healthcare IT.

APC Easy UPS On-Line standard features and applications :

Standard Models :
Built-in batteries for Plug-and-Play will provide a ~2 to 4 min typical battery backup power for the connected equipment at full load.		 Extended-Run Models :
Extended-run models can add external battery packs to scale runtime from minutes to hours, making them ideal for mixed-load applications.		 UXI Models :
UXI series can add third-party external batteries to get longer runtime, providing flexibility when selecting batteries.

Safety and General Information

Deenergizing safety:

The APC SRV1KRILRK Easy UPS  contains internal batteries and may present a shock hazard even when disconnected from the branch circuit (mains). Before installing or servicing the equipment check that the:

  • Input circuit breaker is in the OFF position.
  • Internal UPS batteries are removed.
  • XLBP battery modules are disconnected.
Electrical safety:

  • Use tools with insulated handles.
  • Do not handle any metallic connector before the power has been disconnected.
  • For models with a hardwired input, the connection to the branch circuit (mains) must be performed by a qualified electrician.
  • APC SRV1KRILRK Easy UPS  protective earth conductor for the UPS carries the leakage current from the load devices (computer equipment). An insulated ground conductor is to be installed as part of the branch circuit that supplies the UPS. The conductor must have the same size and insulation material as the grounded and ungrounded branch circuit supply conductors. The conductor will typically be green, with or without a yellow stripe.

 

  • Leakage current for a pluggable, Type A UPS may exceed 3.5 mA when a separate ground terminal is used.
  • The UPS input ground conductor must be properly bonded to the protective earth at the service panel.
  • If the UPS input power is supplied by a separately derived system, the ground conductor must be properly bonded at the supply transformer or motor generator set.
Battery safety :

  • Batteries typically last for two to five years. Environmental factors impact battery life. Elevated ambient temperatures, poor-quality utility power, and frequent short-duration discharges will shorten battery life. Batteries should be replaced before the end of life.
  • Replace batteries immediately when the unit indicates battery replacement is necessary.
  • When replacing batteries, replace them with the same number and type of batteries as originally installed in the equipment

 

  • Schneider Electric uses Maintenance-Free Sealed Lead Acid batteries. Under normal use and handling, there is no contact with the internal components of the battery. Overcharging, overheating or another misuse of batteries can result in a discharge of battery electrolyte. Released electrolytes are toxic and may be harmful to the skin and eyes.
  • CAUTION: Before installing or replacing the batteries, remove jewellery such as chains, wristwatches and rings. Use tools with insulated handles. High short circuit current through conductive materials could cause severe burns.
  • CAUTION: Do not dispose of batteries in a fire. The batteries may explode
  • CAUTION: Do not open or mutilate batteries. Released material is harmful to the skin and eyes and may be toxic.
